Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 9-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end. For quick access, follow the template of BBT provided.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • A short cover letter regarding the submission is attached, together with a suggestion of three (3) potential reviewers.

Author Guidelines

1.0 GENERAL

Please use the  JOURNAL OF BIOPROCESSING AND BIOMASS TECHNOLOGY TEMPLATE provided in this SUBMISSION PACKAGE. Kindly refer to Template Checklist for Guidance. Each submission must include :

  i. Manuscript in  Journal Of Bioprocessing And Biomass Technology Template.
 
  ii. Copyright Transfer Agreement (CTA) document as supplementary file.

In making sure your article will be accepted for publication, please refer to our Journal Policy

 

(1) Manuscripts should be not less than 5 pages but not over 15 pages and must be submitted online only.

(2) Manuscripts must be written in standard academic English.

(3) Manuscripts must not have been published with ISSN/ISBN anywhere else before, nor is it currently under consideration for publication elsewhere. The submitted manuscripts will becarefully checked for plagiarism.

(4) Manuscripts must be submitted as a MS Word document and strictly follow Journal of Bioprocessing and Biomass Technolgy format requirements. Manuscripts that do not comply with the format requirements will NOT be proceeded to review process.

(5) Authors must ensure that the manuscript is entirely original except for material in the public domain and such excerpts from other works. Credits should be properly given to the original authors if their works are referred to, quoted or cited or, if necessary, the written permission of the copyright owners should be obtained; and the work does not contain any libelous or injurious formulas, recipes, or instructions; that the work does not infringe any trade name, trademark, or copyright; and that the work does not invade or violate any right of privacy, personal or proprietary right, or other common law or statutory right.

(6) Manuscripts will be pre-screened by the Editorial Office. Manuscripts that do not conform to any of the requirements stated above, lack sufficient quality and relevance to the journal’s scopes might be subject to be rejected at the Pre-review stage.

Referees

We welcome suggestions for referees (3 names) from the author as EACH SUBMISSION SHOULD BE ACCOMPANIED BY OUR COPYRIGHT TRANSFER AGREEMENT DOCUMENT WHERE NAMING THREE POTENTIAL REVIEWER (minimum pHD level) WITH THEIR OFFICIAL ORGANISATION EMAIL IS A MUST.
